Well Child Communication Check

I have over 20 years experience of working with parents and early years settings.  I have a Specialist interest in early intervention and facilitating parents and professionals to support the communication development of children from 0-5 years.

Research indicates the importance of the first 1001 days of life in a child's development. These early years play a significant role in a child’s development, shaping their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. During this phase, communication and interaction are vital for a child’s growth and learning.

Parents, caregivers and family members play a critical role in facilitating communication and interactions during the first 1001 days.  Engaging in responsive interactions, talking, singing, and reading to the child supports their communication and language development.

Kew Speech and Language offers you the opportunity to explore your communication style and have expert advice to understand and facilitate your child's communication journey through the pre-school years.
